Janie practices a gentle, yet effective style of acupuncture that is designed to work with your body's own ability to heal. She believes in treating the whole person and not just a set of symptoms. Through careful evaluation she'll work together with you to develop a treatment strategy to meet your unique healthcare needs.
Janie received a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR. She is a licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Oregon and is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to practice both
acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is also a volunteer at the Outside In community acupuncture clinic in downtown Portland.
Janie is a native Oregonian, born and raised in Eugene. She has attended both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon and holds a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science. She became interested in acupuncture after experiencing it's powerful benefits in her own life. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her husband, walking her chihuahua Domingo, cooking, hiking, knitting and traveling.
